House of Leaders

Have you ever wondered what’s the difference between those who are successful and those who aren’t? I’d like to think that everyone has the potential to be successful, it’s just a matter of mindset and time. You see, the only thing that separates those who have “made it”, and those who haven’t, is patience and resilience. Sounds simple, doesn’t it?

But it’s a little more complicated than that.

You see, most people tend to give up halfway. The problem with this is that you never know when you’re about to make a great breakthrough, and giving up when you’re halfway there is not just a waste of time, it’s also a waste of your potential. I was almost guilty of this myself at some point, but I remained patient and I showed resilience when it mattered most and that’s how I got to where I am today.

With that said, there are 4 major points as to how I took House of Leaders from where it was to where it is now. I’ve said this to almost every single person who came to me for advice on how to grow their page, so let’s break it down.

1. Start with value in mind

It doesn’t really matter what niche you’re in as long as you can offer some sort of value to your audience. You could be a makeup artist, filmmaker, writer, whatever your niche is, make sure that above all else, you bring value to your audience’s lives, make that your priority.

2. Be consistent

Consistency is one of the most important things, especially when you’re just starting out. Don’t quit posting just because you feel like you’ve posted for a few days straight and not seeing much growth so you end up putting everything on hold and not post anything for the next few weeks or months. That’s not how any of this works. You need to be consistent. It’s not always the biggest things that will get you down, it’s these small things like posting regularly, actively providing value, and so on that really makes a difference in the type of audience you’ll receive as well as the rate of growth that your page will see and that’s entirely in your control.

3. Connect with your audience

This should go without saying but the only way to truly understand and deliver on the value that your audience is actually looking for is by connecting with them. You can’t just go around assuming what your audience is looking for from your content. You need to connect with them. I need to admit that this is something that I’ve been struggling with, not because I don’t enjoy doing it, but because of the sheer number of DMs that I get every day. No, really, it’s like an endless stream of it and I’m eternally grateful for them. It’s one of the best ways for you to get to know your audience, create strong bonds with them, collaborate, or just simply make new friends.

4. Do collabs

You can start out by looking for other relevant pages and reach out to them if they’d like to do a shout-out-for-shout out a.k.a SFS with you. Of course, in the beginning, you’ll see some rejections, but never let that discourage you. There are a plethora of these pages on the wide web who are more than willing to do these with you, don’t give up, keep asking. Not only is this a great way to expose your page to new audiences, but it will also help you build a strong working relationship with these pages which will, in turn, open up further possibilities for you and those pages to go on more exciting forms of collaborations in the future. Don’t be afraid to reach out to them.

It’s never anything complicated or groundbreaking. It’s not something that only geniuses could figure out. It’s quite simple. The difference between those who are successful and those who aren’t YET simply comes down to resilience and patience.

Don’t give up, you’re already halfway there.
